I've been reading your site for a quite a while, and am finally jumping in to ice climbing this coming winter.
Could I ask you to add some remarks about this video? Anything instructive to consider, an overall interpretation of what I'm watching? Technical comments and/or style comments? It really looks terribly impressive, very committing, and difficult to me, and not a little scary, but it would be great to have a sense of whether or not it really is as awesome as I think it is. Thanks!

This video and the next are every bit as committing, impressive and difficult as they look. But neither is the current state of the art either. Classic routes by today's standards. But no give aways either.
