Skiing the Dynafit Blacklight some this year as well. On the race skis I use an older pair of Dynafit PDGs. Bindings are a Dynafit low tech race toe and either a low tech race heel or a Plum 170 race heel, both bindings on tracks. More typically that same zipper would only allow access to a smaller "map" pocket" on the bottom of the lid instead of the entire contents of the lid. Yes they are heavy and might not have the modern technology thats behind the La Sportiva's but i still think the super guide is a superior boot in quality and workmanship. My advice ..invest in a pair and you wont be disappointed .Graeme SAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03937991695145908685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6940163880772720830.post-62414641073455356122023-06-06T10:44:44.077-07:002023-06-06T10:44:44.077-07:00Hey Carol, Just saw your comment. From the feeling and performance (IMHO) they were my favorite skis (especially the 185). However, both of the pairs failed - broke - in the same spot/way: the binding toe (and screws) broke out including the top layer (different binding were used on each pair). Movement did not even bother to acknowledge my email. The normal Session did ski reasonably well but was heavier and not so playful.<br />For anyone considering buying the lightweight series, beware that it might be an especially expensive consumer item.Karolnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6940163880772720830.post-25131791461694469822023-03-17T10:06:52.802-07:002023-03-17T10:06:52.802-07:00I’ve used the original and new gauntlet version fo...I’ve used the original and new gauntlet version for two seasons.
