Patagonia even might be better for what i need - to wear it with backpack. What kind of fabric is this Powerdry on the back?
And i don't know what to choose - Piton Jacket has full front WindPro panel, but Piton Hoody has a hood and super color scheme. I'd be interested if any of the women reading
care to comment on the Piton?Danehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08300760603627210620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6940163880772720830.post-17297022699228611102013-01-21T22:22:30.686-08:002013-01-21T22:22:30.686-08:00Glad you asked. The Piton is way better than I ever imagined it might be. Might even live up to Patagonia ad hype. If you like the R1 Hoody, which I do, this thing is better IMO...way better. Even a decent piece of outer wear in moderate conditions. I am wearing mine now as I type this and just bought a 2nd on line for $124! Even my wife wants one. How weird is that? Had it for a few weeks and had yet to try it. Now that I have I am not in any hurry to take it off. I'm amazed at all the conditions it works well in. The recent pictures should make that clear enough, By choice I have it on in every one of them working as a model for CT or as a photographer. And it takes a lot to impress me these days. The Piton obviously has impressed me. Enough so to make my new profile picture as well.Danehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08300760603627210620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6940163880772720830.post-17588576183359767262013-01-21T21:47:57.925-08:002013-01-21T21:47:57.925-08:00Patagonia Piton Hybrid Hoody? My Dynafit skis are so light (Broad Peak) that I strap both skis to one side of the pack. Heavier skis I can easily split up and carry as an A frame. It is an easy carry either way. And quick to get the skis on and off if you don't mind taking off your pack to do the job. My Dynafit and Camp race packs you don't even remove the pack to add or remove skis. But I don't like them for climbing, even soloing with almost no gear. Old habits and all.Danehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08300760603627210620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6940163880772720830.post-54951789434178008102013-01-21T12:46:48.082-08:002013-01-21T12:46:48.082-08:00How did (would) you attach skis to that pack?
